The Operating Table illusion - Most people will see that the oprating table is tilted onto the right side . In reality, both the rectangles are completely horizontal . The diagonal lines fool your eyes.

Mysterious Flowmeter illusion - This anesthetic machine has a CO2 flowmeter ! If you try to turn it off, you wont find the knob !

The Airway illusion - Most people will see the lower airway as being larger than the upper one. Yet it is only an illusion.

 Tracheal Tube illusion - Most people will find the vertical tracheal tube to be longer than the horizontal one. As you might have guessed, they are both exactly the same size.

And a non-anesthesia illusion .... "Slow Gears"

You must relax your eyes and view this image. Look from a distance from your computer screen.

The gear wheels should appear to SLOWLY rotate. The one on your left should turn clockwise and the one on the right should turn anticlockwise.

IMPORTANT - Not everyone will be able to see these illusions.
