The critical temperature of Isoflurane is about 200 degrees Celsius. The
temperature on the planet Venus is about 500 degrees Celsius. So if you lived on
Venus, Isoflurane would exist as a gas. On Earth, since the temperature where
you live is hopefully below the critical temperature of Isoflurane, it exists as
a vapour / liquid.
