Edema ( Starts periorbital; pitting ) (Include effusions , Ascites )
Proteins are lost (Proteinuria > 3g/ day) leading to low protein (Hypoalbuminemia <30 g/L)
Hypertension may develop.
Renal failure may develop.
O for "Oil" Hyperlipidemia ( may develop xanthomata /xanthelasma)
Thrombosis and thromboembolic complications including renal vein thrombosis due
to increased coagulability.
Infection can be the cause. Also , their with Nephrotic Syndrome are prone to infection.
Cause of it? (e.g. features of diabetes, collagen vascular disease such as SLE )
